Congratulations to Dr. Thomas Polascik, Professor of Surgery, Division of Urology, and Dr. Ali Aminsharifi, Urologic Oncology Fellow, on winning first place at the Innovate Carolina Conference in Charlotte this past week. Their team, Team UroSolutions, was led by Duke engineering professors Drs. Mark Palmeri and Eric Richardson. The mission of the conference is to "create a persistent community of corporate and socially invested innovators striving to change the world through creative collaboration and purposeful action designed to unleash the potential of individuals and organizations to thrive."
