Established in 2010, the Cary N. Robertson, MD, Associate Professor of Surgery endowment supports scholars of merit in the field of Urologic Surgery who have demonstrated compassionate patient care, clinical excellence, and dedication to education similar to its namesake. Brant Inman, MD, held this distinguished title through 2021.
In November 2021, the Board of Trustees appointed Michael Lipkin, MD, Associate Professor of Surgery, Division of Urology, as the Cary N. Robertson, MD, Associate Professor of Surgery.
“It is an immense accomplishment to get an endowed chair, which in this case, not only did I receive an endowed chair, but it is endowed by someone I consider a colleague, mentor and friend,” says Dr. Lipkin. “This endowment will provide me with resources to help support Dr. Antonelli and her academic pursuits for our endourology lab. This is my way of paying it forward. She is an amazing endo-urologist and together we have a great opportunity to move the field forward and improve the care our patients receive.
