The 2026 American Urological Association (AUA) Resident Bowl, one of the highlights of the AUA meeting in Washington, DC, earlier this month, showcased the exceptional knowledge, teamwork, and competitive spirit of urology residents from across the country.
This year’s winning team, the Southeastern Section of the AUA, demonstrated outstanding clinical acumen and composure throughout the competition, earning top honors and bringing pride to their respective training programs.
Special congratulations goes to Duke Urology resident John Dudinec, MD, who played a key role in the team’s championship performance. Dr. Dudinec’s broad fund of urologic knowledge, quick thinking, and collaborative leadership helped propel the team to victory against an impressive field of competitors. His performance reflects the academic excellence and dedication to education that continue to distinguish the Duke Urology residency program.
Duke Urology is proud to recognize Dr. Dudinec for this outstanding accomplishment and congratulates the entire Southeastern Section team on an impressive and well-deserved victory.
