What were you looking for in a residency program?
A cohesive group of residents and attendings who support each other; representation of a diverse range of urologic subspecialties; a robust clinical, surgical and research infrastructure.
What are the strengths of the Duke program?
I was lucky enough to do an away rotation at Duke and experience all of the above firsthand. It's a place where every member of the team is valued and excellent patient care is always at the forefront of everyone's mind.
What advice do you have for incoming interns?
- Stay organized and ask lots of questions.
What do you like best about living in Durham and the Triangle?
- Still exploring all the great nature things, but I'm a sucker for the excellent biscuits.
What do you like to do outside of Duke?
- Yoga, art museums and anything involving the beach.
