Clinical and Research Interests

When I chose to pursue a career in urology, I knew that I would enjoy practicing any of the urologic subspecialties. That has not changed, however, since beginning training I am increasingly interested in urologic oncology and cancer survivorship. 

Clinically, I am interested in the relationship between surgical technique and post-operative morbidity. I am also enthusiastic about medical education accessibility, particularly for non-traditional applicants. 

What advice do you have for incoming interns?

If you learn with the goal of understanding, rather than for a test result, you will be a better physician for your patients and the scores will follow.
